A New Calling and Remodeling

I got a new calling to work in the nursery. It is pretty laid back. I just teach once a month, there are three other leaders, and just about 10 or so kids. I would rather have this calling then another stressful one. I did enjoy Relief Society for the past six months.

Brian and I have debated on where to start to update our house. Almost every room needs something done to it. It will probably take a few years because of time and money. For right now, Brian decided to start in the basement. He tore down the three outside walls because they all need more insulation. Hopefully it will save us on heating costs. Today he tore down the ceiling to put in some electrical for new lights. It will be nice to have it updated. One room at a time.

WOW---a wall and a ceiling! Good luck! That's some BIG remodeling! We'll have to get together sometime to play!

Allie saw your blog background and said, "How Cute!" I agree. Nursery is a lot of fun, but it can be exhausting. Luckily you have a lot of help!

It sounds like you have a nice new calling.

That is exciting that you are remodeling. It feels so good to get things like that completed. It is also awesome that Brian knows what he is doing, so you know the walls and ceiling won't be torn down forever! :)

How exciting to be getting work done. I hope we can start our landscaping here pretty soon. Good luck with that guys!

I am glad that you only have to do the nursery once a month. That will keep you from getting burned out on it.
