1. We went on two 5-mile hikes. We enjoyed the peace, quiet, exercise and scenery.
2. Bikers like to hang out there. They were interesting to watch. They seem like they love life and they don't have to answer to anyone besides their other biker buddies.
3. We ate at a BBQ place called Bubba's. The food was excellent.
4. We had some granolas camping by us that bicycled in from miles around. The women had long beautiful hair, wore skirts down to their ankles...don't ask me how they rode around on their bikes with those dresses. They just did it... with style. Brian wanted to film them to make a little documentary, but everytime he started, they would disappear into the forest.
5. No kids for three days. I felt that I appreciated them better when I got back. I was very patient with them for two whole days.
